Wine Spectator editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken talked with Italian wine visionary Marchese Piero Antinori about his more than 50 years steering the family company, including the creation of super Tuscan Tignanello, winning Wine of the Year with the 1997 Solaia, his releationship with his brother Lodovico Antinori, his three daughters succeeding him, purchasing Stag’s Leap Wine Cellar in Napa, and his plans for its future.
