Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex (née Markle), has been back on our Royal Radar, albeit of the Non-Working Royal category. But she is working, just not in that old royal capacity. She’s back in front of the camera again, with a recently debuted, wine-sprinkled lifestyle series from Netflix called With Love, Meghan.
With Love offers viewers a peek inside the enviable, quiet, luxurious existence of, well … let’s just call her Meghan. We’re all friends here, right?!
If you’re not already a Meghead who devoured all the episodes on release, come for the cute décor, stay for the chefs and wine-spotting. Set in glorious, sun-dappled Montecito, Calif., the show features Meghan demonstrating how to easily elevate our lives through pasta recipes, flower sprinkles, colorful crudités, healthy teas, homemade dog treats and, of course, almost always a glass of well-selected wine. Each of the eight episodes focuses on our host preparing for an event or party where she showcases her culinary and decorative expertise or seeks guidance from a celebrity chef or guest on how to improve her own skills.

Plenty of Wine Cameos
The actor-turned-royal-turned-influencer is no stranger to the content creation hustle. Prior to her marriage to Prince Harry, and in addition to her starring role in the TV drama Suits, Markle ran the lifestyle blog The Tig—named for Tignanello, her favorite super Tuscan. As a longtime wine connoisseur herself (and rumored to be planning her own rosé wine), it should come as no surprise that the plat du jour in nearly every episode is paired with a glass of vino or craft cocktail.
One of the early episodes features Meghan engaging her friend Mindy Kaling in preparations for a garden-themed, kid-friendly party complete with ladybug crostini and tulip toast. As parents of toddlers everywhere know, the best way to get through an early-morning birthday bash is with some bubbly and Markle is happy to oblige.
Episode 3 is the standout, featuring chef Roy Choi teaching Meghan how to make tempura fried chicken, classically paired with Taittinger Brut Champagne Reserve NV. In other episodes, we are treated to the duchess sipping on Domaines Ott Côtes de Provence Rosé with her gal pals as well as enjoying mimosas made with Billecart-Salmon Champagne.

The season finale opens with California culinary icon Alice Waters teaching Meghan how to make her favorite salad vinaigrette over a bottle of Domaine Tempier in preparation for a celebratory luncheon the duchess is hosting for her friends and family, including Prince Harry. Against the lush landscape and blue sky, Meghan and her guests toast with Ruinart Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne while munching on green salad and carrottop pesto in a picturesque end to a frothy and delightful debut season.
What’s a Series Without Merchandise?
Diehard fans can also buy a piece of the show—Meghan’s signature fruit spreads, teas and flower sprinkles are available for purchase on AsEver.com. (At the time of publication, all products have already sold out).
With season 2 already filming and slated for release in the fall, we can surely expect more dried florals, plenty more crudité, and hopefully, more exceptional wine choices from our new favorite royal influencer.
