With the conclusion of 2025’s final Grand Slam event—the U.S. Open at New York’s Billie Jean King Center—tennis season is unofficially giving way to après tennis season, and as ever, the U.S Open’s Golden Goblet overfloweth with celebrities and celebratory beverages.
If you played your courts just right, a properly quenched 2025 U.S. Open itinerary started with an Aperol spritz with Saturday Night Live’s Bowen Yang followed by a Honey Deuce shaken up by none other than homecourt favorite Francis Tiafoe before popping Moët & Chandon with Dakota and Elle Fanning (last spotted popping Moët at the Golden Globes, of course).
And while usual suspects Jannik Sinner of Italy and Carlos Alcaraz of Spain brought the U.S. Open to a thrilling conclusion in front of tennis buff and U.S. President Donald J. Trump, it was more recently on the West Coast that American men’s tennis finally got its “USA!” moment, when Taylor Fritz and Team World secured the Davis Cup over Team Europe’s Sascha Zverev and Alcaraz.

Laver Cup Celebrates American Winner Taylor Fritz with California’s Daou Vineyards
Created in 2017 and named for Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, the Laver Cup is an annual Ryder Cup–style competition pitting Europe’s best fuzz-ballers against the best of the rest of the world.
Led by San Diego native Taylor Fritz and supported by Fritz’ girlfriend Morgan Riddle and the San Francisco Chase Center’s homecourt crowd, Team World triumphed this year, returning the Laver Cup to Not Europe after having left it there following last year’s loss to the soft-courters in Berlin.
Fritz wasn't the only Golden State winner: The 2025 Laver Cup's official wine was Paso Robles’ Daou Vineyards.
"This partnership is a natural extension of Daou’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, elevated hospitality and the pursuit of excellence,” read a statement from Daou parent company Treasury Wine Estates. “This same dedication is mirrored at the Laver Cup, where the world’s top tennis players unite in an incredible display of precision, passion and performance.”

2025 U.S. Open Shines with Moët & Chandon Golden Goblets, Clos du Bois Stemless Souvenirs
Few sporting events bring out the stars—and the sparkle—like the U.S. Open, and Moët & Chandon delivered it by the case this year in its returning role as the tournament’s official Champagne. Moët’s flashy Golden Goblets returned serve as well; the gold mirrored stemware has become one of the U.S. Open’s many must-have souvenirs. New for this year’s open was the Moët & Chandon Ice Mimosa, made with the maison’s Ice Impérial Champagne, made specifically to be served over ice.
Another of this year’s new offerings was the stemless U.S. Open-branded wineglass that accompanied the tournament’s new official still wine, California’s Clos du Bois. The winery will also be holding a sweepstakes to send two fans to the 2026 men’s final.

But we’re here for the celebrities as much as if not more than the snappy tennis commentary, and among the shining stars spotted in the Moët & Chandon suite at Arthur Ashe this year were sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning, Ludacris, Julianne Moore, Adam Driver, Questlove, Common and New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson.
In the end, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner in front of the only star who shines brighter than Taylor Swift’s engagement ring, Virginia wine family patriarch and U.S. President Donald Trump, who was welcomed by his fellow spectators with a rousing chorus typically reserved for icons like Bruce Springsteen.

Doubles, Anyone? All the Grey Goose Honey Deuces and Aperol Spritzes, Please
While no beverage is more strongly marketed to U.S. Open fans than the Grey Goose Honey Deuce cocktail, with its Millennial pink hue and neon melon ball garnish, Aperol sent Saturday Night Live’s Bowen Yang to Queens this year to tempt fans with another brightly colored September sipper, the Aperol Spritz.
”Hold my Deuce,” we can only presume the Grey Goose marketing team said as they sent 2-time U.S. Open semifinalist and fan favorite Francis Tiafoe to Grand Central Terminal for a surprise bartending shift at Grey Goose’s Last Serve pop-up bar. We’re not sure yet how many Tiafoe served up, but in 2024 the U.S. Open served more than 550,000 Honey Deuces. Vintage 2025 Honey Deuce price tag: $23.

Among those photographed enjoying a Honey Deuce this year included (of course) Taylor Fritz’ longtime girlfriend and influencer Morgan Riddle and noted wine and food influencer Stanley Tucci.
